Emmanuel Diela Nkita
Dancer | Performer | Model | Artist
Born in Brussels, Emmanuel Diela Nkita is a Belgian-Congolese dancer and performer whose artistic journey has taken him from Brussels to Montreal, Paris and Amsterdam, where he developed his training and explored different approaches to movement.
His artistic curiosity extends well beyond dance. Visual arts, exhibitions, performance and opera are all sources of inspiration, enriching his understanding of the body and its expressive possibilities. Sharing the stage with opera singers and engaging with artists from different disciplines have further strengthened his interest in the dialogue between movement, music and theatrical expression.
At the heart of his work lies a desire not only to experience movement, but to transmit its energy and emotional resonance. Passion, strength and sincerity shape his stage presence, allowing him to explore the relationship between physical expression and human emotion.
Rooted in the classical Russian Vaganova technique and inspired by the expressive theatrical language of Maurice Béjart, his artistic identity brings together technical discipline, physical intensity and emotional authenticity. Moving freely between neoclassical, contemporary and modern dance, Emmanuel approaches the stage as a space where movement becomes expression, and where every gesture carries its own energy, intention and meaning.
Emmanuel sees his artistic practice as a continuous process of discovery and transformation. As a model, actor, dancer and choreographer, he draws inspiration from mentors across different artistic disciplines and remains open to new experiences. He continues to develop a personal language in which technique and instinct, discipline and freedom, physicality and emotion meet.
